The Lord is Good
Taken in Langebaan, 2019 The Lord has been so good to me. I am reminding my self of His goodness towards me because I currently find myself in a season of doubt. Moving to a new city has been harder than I anticipated I have struggled to settle, connect, form friendships. Mostly because I think I have convinced myself that a move this bold for me will not work out. Something will give. The other shoe will drop. God’s goodness in the past 3 years will run out. But God has been good to me. And a season of struggle like the one I find myself in now, will not diminish the enormity of that eternal Truth. And I want you to know that too. “God is for you, not against you”. God is for me, not against me. What feels like suffering now will give way to Glory. Here or in eternity. I give thanks today for this season. I may feel differently tomorrow as I get caught up in the struggle and believe the lie that it’s not true, but today I give thanks to Our Good, Good Father.
