Learning To Say "Yes"

I have had a bit of a hiatus from this blog. It certainly was not intentional. I have had a lot to say, but have not had the courage to share. I recently felt the tug to share on this blog. I’ve decided to say “yes” to this tug. There is a lot of fear involved with this blog, but I’ve realised that when God asks I need to learn to say yes. Just like Mary.

I love Mary and I’ve been trying my best to be the kind of young woman she was. I’ve lent on her and sought her intercession so much over the last year. She has taught me to love God more fiercely. In the last few months I’ve learnt that truly being like Mary means learning to say “yes” to the will of God in my life. It is still a process, but I am slowly learning to say “let not my will, but Your will be done unto me”.

I hope this blog inspires and encourages other young woman to love God fiercely, and to be fully open to the will of God in their lives. Let us be “wholly God’s, because He is wholly ours”.
